Church Makan Makan Day Trip14th June 2011
Had our church day trip on this day! had been wanting to post this for a long time le but my internet keep giving me problems.. zzz.. haha.. finally its up! =D
woke up very early in the morning.. went to church.. Pastor Tan with a prayer.. and off we go!
first stop.. we arrived at kampong area to try their kampong style nasi lemak!! its super delicious! and the black sauce with chilli is super spicy too!! =x.. haha.. love their "abalone" mushroom too ^^.. haha..
next stop.. off for some shopping!! at a place in Yong Ping! think I went there all the time whenever there are "pit stops" for our trip de =X.. haha.. their stuffs are still as nice though! =D
after that.. we head to some noodle making factory!.. where we can get super cheap noodles to buy home! =D.. I did try their way of beating the dough though.. its not easy even though it seems easy! =x.. haha..
finally! Lunchtime!! haha.. we had lunch at some restaurant.. the exact same one where we had for dinner last year on our way back from Church Family Camp!!! =D.. haha.. hmm.. this time the standard wasn't as good though.. but its still not bad la =)
after lunch.. we head to birdnest making factory!.. well.. I don't know if anyone bought anything from there though.. but the process in making sounds pretty interesting =D
next! we head to some fruit farm or plantation! where we were introduced some very rare species of plants and fruits in that area.. and we had a mini fruit buffet after that! =D
last shopping place of the day (well.. not like we have many shopping places before).. we went to Jusco!! haha.. practically just walked around the whole building.. without buying anything.. haha.. because we had only bout an hour to shop.. and also we have nothing to buy ba =/..
finally.. its dinner time again! time really flies.. haha.. it is not called Makan Makan Trip for nothing! haha.. we practically ate non stop the whole day!!! haha.. and it was even better for dinner!.. this time round we ate at another restaurant.. but it was much better than before!! the food was really great and everyone had a good meal and a filled tummy before heading home =P
Home sweet home!! reached Singapore at around 9pm le.. tiring day!! T.T.. lol..
